January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amShane, I totally agree with the dilemma. I've explored many options and this solution looks the simplest to start with! Thanks for your effort in this area!

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amI am gathering a group of affiliates together to set up an online school where we can take advantage of everyone's marketing clout. What platform is best for that?

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amSuper content, thanks Shane!! I would so much appreciate a video or a podcast that tells you how you set up an online business from having an idea to getting a decent numer of customers. I am not talking about "no procrastiation" or "create an excellent product" or "apply the 80/20-rule". What I mean is all the technicalities behind everything: How do people get from my facebook advert to my landing page? How do people pay for my product? How do I incorporate opt-in-offers into my website? And so on and so forth.
Sorry for all the dumb questions, but they come from an IT dinosaur with no marketing skills whatsoever, who until 2 weeks ago thought "shipping" had something to do with a ship, copywriting is a juridical term probably meaning creating copyright technicalities and who did not know what SEO stands for (where is the monkey emoji that cowers its eyes?).
But: I have been listening to two thirds of your podcasts and already know a lot more and I know I can do that!

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amHi Shane
I am using Thrive Themes with Send Owl to sell my ebooks, and even set up affiliate programs with my ebook bundles. Thank you for sharing this information.

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amWhat about integrating with ThriveCart? I already own it. I don't want to pay a monthly to Owl… ThriveCart has an affiliate program and full shopping cart.

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amThe biggest problem I have is that the currency at checkout doesn't dynamically change to the country of the prospective buyer is. I hate seeing Euros on pricing pages. I'm in USA and want to see USD.

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amDoes sendowl also take care of the membership access?

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amWhich Email sending system allows the user to pause the sending of emails? I've got a 6 months course, and in those six months people go on holiday, get sick or need a break, and don't want to receive emails. I'd be grateful for any pointers.
BTW, thanks for another great video! Much appreciated, although I'm not using Thrive, but Oxygen Builder.

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amI developed a free online course using thrive apprentice to market my own books and others referenced in my course content. I have also joined as an affiliate partner on amazon.com to gain commissions on books I sell other than my own. Can I embed amazon.com links of books mentioned in my course content? If so, how may I achieve this? Please be specific. Thanks.

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amHi Shane! Thank you for the great video. It would be awesome to have integrations with reseller platforms, like Digistore24, Elopage, Hotmart and ClickBank.
The reseller model is very convenient because they take care of the VAT since they are the sellers. Less legal headaches! The course can be still hosted on the own website so one keep the control.
Are you planning to add these integrations in the future?
Thanks for your feedback!

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amShane, I was wondering if you could answer a question. How does hosting courses natively via a plugin (such as Thrive Apprentice) affect the site performance and hence the SEO of my site, compared to hosting a course via an online provider (such as Teachable or Kajabi). I had LearnDash plugin installed on my site, but have deactivated it because my Pingdom and GT Metrix scores were crazy low. After I deactivated the plugin and optimised all the site images, the performance improved many times over.

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amShane – I have been a Thrive Member for a little while now – I’m so thrilled with not only the product, but equally your style and perspective on being efficient, productive and winning online. The attributes of the leader of any company permeate the entirety of the company’s offers (Thrive in this case) and I just hope you keep doing what you have been doing.
I learned about Ultimatum the other day…and just wow! I’ve always felt the fake deadlines were cheesy and compromised the integrity of the business using them…
…and was literally going to pay for the Deadline Funnel software and didn’t even realize I had essentially the same thing included in the membership.
Cheers.

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amHi Shane! Thanks for the video!
One very important thing is still missing – at least for me.
How and where do course owners get there legal texts from? In Germany law is pretty strict and errors in the terms of agreement (AGB) can cause huge legal costs which threaten a startup. Can you recommend lawyers who set up proper texts for small amounts of money and who can check the whole buying process on my website?
If that has been cleared I can’t wait to buy a single or 2-sites license of Thrive Apprentice when you release it.
Thank you and enjoy your day!

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amWhat's the best solution to hosting the videos using thrive apprentice & send owl? Thanks 🙂

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amGreat point you have there, from my 10 years expirience I can add that good strong ecommerce marketing is only a fact of very good content that Facebook love to grasp – that it!
I've put a course here for free that I think all of us will enjoy from

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amHi SHane. Great video! I'm a member of Thrive currently. QUick question, is Thrive Apprentice a membership plugin? Will it allow me to block access to non-premium users? Also, is it possible to completely redesign all of the Thrive Apprentice pages using Thrive Architect? Thanks!

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amWill SendOwl give me the option to allow my buyers either pay the whole amount of $450 for the course, or pay let's say 3 payment of $160 a month?

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amWhen it comes to marketing you will be hard pressed to effectively outsource unless you have the financial means to do so. From my experience, most people traveling down the online course route are doing so as a way to initially earn extra income so it’s very much a side-project. Side-projects often don’t have very large budgets. https://www.createonlineacademy.com/

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amFrom what I've seen so far, this integration does not accept subscription plans. That's a deal breaker for me unfortunately.

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amHi. I think thrive is the best sweet of WordPress plugins by far and I recommend anyone reading this to buy it.
My only concern is will there ever be a way to 1 click upsell and downsell with thrive in the future?

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amI looked into SencOwl based on your recommendations, but it seems as if it can't be used a membership plugin. It can only be used to sell single courses. I think that needs to be pointed out.

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amOff topic question. Does Thrive works with WordPress 5.0 update? I tried looking up in Google and didn't find any result.

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amShane, this is amazing! I am waiting since two years for such a solution with an system I am familiar. I use Thrive since 2017 and the progress and value you deliver is gigantic regarding your price structure. Thanks!

January 12, 2021 - 4:00 amI'm excited to put together a small course with your new recommended elements. I'm new to figuring out how to do this and what I need, especially the taking payment part. Thrive Themes is an elegant and user-friendly system and you are so on top of training! Thanks a million!
