Just a tip for bloggers: if you frequent chat rooms, drop your link into the chat with a person (be polite about it). I've found people will gladly take a few minutes to check out my blog if I name drop it during a conversation. Got a lot of hits like this.

I love talking about my books, haha… probably my favorite part of marketing! 🙂 The libraries in Chicago don't take donations, but I have donated a few copies of my Furever Home Friends books to the children's hospital here (the same one I went to when I was a sickly child… cue emotional music) and that has been nice! 🙂 Social media has been super helpful as well! Love doing blog/youtube/podcast interviews!

I was at the dentist literally yesterday and the secretary was asking me what I did to which I said writing and she had follow up questions and wanted me to explain dystopian to her and I didn't even name drop Aletheia I was too busy panicking lmao Online I can handle, in person people ask about my book and I freeze up. I also really want to try Kindle Select but am with Ingramspark so I'd have to call them and get ebook distribution put on hold to do that. But I sell maybe one ebook trough IngramSpark a month and KU comes with so many little perks I think I might do a test run.
